Pro tip: If you really want to boost engagement, follow your email with a text message asking the prospect to look in their inbox for your email.
One month later, send another email. Once again, remind them you respect their time, but just in case, you send a link to your calendar. Include a case history or relevant article about whatever it is you're selling. And you close with "I look forward to getting together with you again in a few months, as we agreed." Send an email every month. Do not sell, simply continue to send relevant information about your industry. Empathize with their pain points.
Your last email should close with "I look forward to speaking with you again -- as we agreed. Are you available Tuesday or Thursday next week? I'll call your office for an appointment." Your prospect remembers you. Your branding has paid off. They're ready to buy.
